RGS-IBG: Geography brings insight to financing net-zero

To support our work advocating for the relevance and importance of geography in policymaking and professional practice, the Society has recently re-launched our ‘Environment and Society Forum’ series. These events provide space for knowledge exchange between policymakers, professionals and researchers in often complex and sensitive areas of decision-making to which geography can bring new insight.

In early December, policymakers and professionals from across the environment, finance, and investment sectors will come together with geographers working on climate change and the carbon transition to explore investment solutions to the challenge of decarbonisation.
