Landscape Institute publishes 12 key asks of the new government

The Landscape Institute today published its 12 key asks of the new government, covering issues that will be vital for our membership and industry in 2020 and beyond

Over the next year there are likely to be huge policy shifts that affect both our sector and the nation as a whole. The LI will be working closely with government to ensure that landscape’s voice is heard, and to argue for people, place, and nature.

The new government must take action on climate change, ensure as smooth a transition as possible as we leave the European Union, deliver critical investment to design, and support our members in delivering quality, healthy, sustainable places for the UK.
